Fall 2013 was all things British at Bloomingdale's. New British brands, exclusive product by top U.K. designers/brands, including a special collection of Beatles merchandise, in-store and online pop-up shops, 4 special trips from Visit Britain, and 2 in-store iHeartRadio concerts were available to the Bloomingdale's customer. This microsite was the place all of this content and more (including a music player for and exclusive iHeartRadio playlist). As big of an organizational as a design challenge, the site features clean, long-scrolling pages with embedded slideshows and videos in order to make all of the content easy for the user to navigate. This site design is also optimized for tablet users. My copy collaborator and I also developed a specials "insiders guide" for the travel section featuring unique activities tailored to the Bloomingdale's customer.
